Description of the Safety Risk : If the original label applied is incorrect there is a potential for improper

Problem Descrip􀆟on: Incorrect Federal Cer􀆟fica􀆟on Labels iden􀆟fy the 􀆟res as being ST225/75R15D LRD. The
correct Federal Cer􀆟fica􀆟on Label iden􀆟fies the 􀆟res as being ST235/75R15 LRD
Consequence:
The poten􀆟al for improper infla􀆟on of the current 􀆟res exists if a trailer is labeled incorrectly. There is a poten􀆟al
risk of over infla􀆟on which could result in reduced trac􀆟on and performance of the 􀆟res as well as cause uneven
􀆟re wear poten􀆟ally resul􀆟ng in poor handling and an increased risk of crash.
Remedy:
A replacement label is enclosed to replace the original label. To install, make sure the original label is removed
from the vehicle, the area where the original label was installed should be clean and dry to promote adequate
adhesion of the new replacement label. Remove the label backer exposing the adhesive backed label and put in
place with applied pressure.
Once the label is installed, inspec􀆟ons and repairs are complete, please complete and return the enclosed
postcard that is pre-stamped and addressed for your convenience.

Problem Descrip􀆟on: Incorrect Federal Cer􀆟fica􀆟on Labels iden􀆟fy the 􀆟res as being ST225/75R15D LRD. The
correct Federal Cer􀆟fica􀆟on Label iden􀆟fies the 􀆟res as being ST235/75R15 LRD
Consequence:
The poten􀆟al for improper infla􀆟on of the current 􀆟res exists if a trailer is labeled incorrectly. There is a poten􀆟al
risk of over infla􀆟on which could result in reduced trac􀆟on and performance of the 􀆟res as well as cause uneven
􀆟re wear poten􀆟ally resul􀆟ng in poor handling and an increased risk of crash.
Remedy:
A replacement label is enclosed to replace the original label. To install, make sure the original label is removed
from the vehicle, the area where the original label was installed should be clean and dry to promote adequate
