If the GVWR is incorrect it can allow the vehicle to be overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.

Summary
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2018 Eagle EA, EB, ED travel trailers. The Federal Labels and Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label on these vehicles may incorrectly list the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) as 11,750lbs, when the actual GVWR is 11,700lbs. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.”
Remedy
Jayco will notify owners and provide them with a corrected label, free of charge. The recall began on February 13, 2018. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9901373.

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
Jayco has decided that certain Model Year 2018 Eagle 320RLTS(EB), 338RETS(ED) and 330RSTS (EA) travel trailers, fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 120, “Tire selection and rims and motor home/recreation vehicle trailer load carrying capacity information for motor vehicles with a GVWR more than 4,536 kilograms (10,000 pounds)”.
Due to a data entry error, the Gross Vehichle Weight Rating (GVWR) was noted as 11,750 lbs.on the Federal Certification label, when the affected trailers were manufactutered with a GVWR of 11,700 lbs. and the carrying capacity information noted on the yellow Cargo Carrying Capacity( CCC) was also incorrect. This error could allow consumer to inadvertanly overload the trailer which may lead to drivabilty issues, causing a crash.
The corrected Federal Label and Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label are enclosed with this notification letter. You may replace then correct labels on your trailer by following the enclosed instructions or contact a Jayco Dealer to set an appointment to place the labels on your trailer at no charge. If you choose to perform the recall remedy, please complete and return the enclosed Reply Form so we can note the recall repair as completed.
If you choose to take your vehicle to a non-Jayco dealer, they must contact Jayco prior to making the recall repairs for proper authorization and instruction. Federal regulations require that any vehicle lessor receiving this notice must forward a copy of this notice to the lessee within ten days.
If you take your recreational vehicle to your dealer on the agreed service date and the dealer does not remedy this condition on that date or within three (3) days, please contact our Customer Service Department at 800-283-8267. If after contacting your dealer and Customer Service you are not able to have the safety defect remedied without charge and/or within a reasonable time, you may wish to submit a written complaint to the Administrator, national Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 1200 New Jersey Avenue, SE., Washington, DC 20590; or call the toll-free Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY: 1-800-424-9153): or go to https://www.safercar.gov.
